Global Action Days 2022
MY ACTIONS MATTER!
20- 30 April, 2022
Together, we can be the #GenerationRestoration!
This Global Action Days 2022 campaign saw over 150,000 participants from 73 countries taking action for global biodiversity.
For the past 40 years, the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) has been dedicated to promoting education for sustainable development through its five innovative programmes. Since 2015, FEE has been coordinating the annual #GlobalActionDays campaign. Every year, our #GlobalActionDays campaign mobilises the power of our global network and demonstrates how our individual actions, both small and large, can have a significant impact on the wellbeing of ourselves, our communities, and our planet.
With the launch of our new strategic plan, GAIA 20:30, FEE identified the three most urgent environmental issues facing us today: Climate Change, Biodiversity Loss, and Environmental Pollution. Aligning with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, FEE is committed to achieving our three overarching goals of:
empowering climate action,
protecting global biodiversity,
reducing environmental pollution.
In line with our GAIA 20:30 strategic goal of protecting global biodiversity and as a proud Supporting Partner of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, this year’s #GlobalActionDays campaign invited our FEE network to participate in small, positive actions, or #handprints, that protect, restore and celebrate global biodiversity.
