13 Years of the Litter Less Campaign
The Litter Less Campaign, funded by the Mars Wrigley Foundation, is an environmental education project that has been implemented by Foundation for Environmental Education in both formal and non-formal educational settings. Through the Litter Less Campaign, students have learned about different types of litter and waste, how waste negatively impact the environment and the importance of adopting a circular economy mind-set. Students adopted ways to sustainably manage waste, raised awareness of sustainable consumption and production as well as practiced environmental leadership, thereby catalyzing behaviour change in their schools and communities.
