Job title: Finance Coordinator

Compensation: DKK 12.500,00 per month
Are you detail-oriented and comfortable with numbers? Do you have a strong eagerness to learn and grow in the finance field? We are looking for a coordinator for a part-time position in our finance and accounting department. The candidate should be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and ready to take on some routine tasks. You will be part of a team with an international atmosphere, featuring employees from more than 10 countries.
Reporting to the organisation’s Finance Director, you will gain insight into all aspects of the finance function in an exciting international organisation. You will also develop a solid understanding of the fundamental skills in accounting, as well as an insight into the unique financial challenges faced by NGOs.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support our Financial Director with financial and administrative tasks, including:
Financial Data Entry: Timesheets, invoices, and records.
Invoicing & Collections: Preparing, sending, and following up on invoices.
Bill Payments: Processing payments and tracking expenditures.
Payroll Support: Assisting with payroll as needed.
Email Management: Monitoring and responding to finance-related enquiries.
Additionally, you will provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the finance team.
We’re looking for a motivated and capable individual with:
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Eagerness to learn and grow in the finance field
A positive, proactive attitude
No accounting degree required – just a solid understanding of finance and a willingness to learn
Personal Qualifications:
Clear and professional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Great at maintaining structured routines and managing a consistent workflow.

We Offer
You will be the second half of a small, efficient finance team, where you will receive guidance and training in all aspects of the finance and accounting functions from the Finance Director. You will play an important role, in ensuring continuation of FEE’s financial continuity and structure. You will have an opportunity to further strengthen the financial functions at FEE and you’ll have the opportunity to build the financial relationships with our member organisations, thereby enabling the organisation for further growth and impact. In this position you will be a key part in the smooth daily operation, which is important to enable our colleagues to perform at their best. At FEE you will be part of an organisation with great colleagues driven by a common goal and who are truly inclusive and values the whole team.
FEE also offers a flexible working environment, enabling you to work from home and at our Head Office, located in Sydhavnen in Copenhagen. The applicant must be available to work at the FEE Head office for one day on a Tuesday.

Compensation
The position will be compensated at 12.500,00 DKK per month plus a 10% pension (after probationary period) and a generous vacation scheme.
